Christmas Services

Communion Service

12:00 Noon in the Sanctuary

A simple, short service, with Holy Communion-- ideal for those who need to leave town.

Family Service

5:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Family members of all ages join together to share the good news! See the Christmas story unfold as the holy family, angels, shepherds and Wise Men take their places. Everyone is invited to dress as a member of the story if they choose. Biblical dress is optional, not required. All ages of children are welcome in this service! Childcare is available for the 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. services.

Candlelight Services

7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Our traditional service of lessons, carols, and lights will be held at three different times on this special evening. Each service ends with members of the congregation holding a lighted candle. All members and friends are invited to participate in one or all of these beautiful times of worship. At 7:00 p.m. the Chancel Choir fill the air with the glorious sounds of Christmas. The Agape Singers at 9:00 p.m. will continue with their version of the sounds of Christmas. Child care will be available for the 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. services, and church bus transportation will be available for the 7:00 p.m. service.

11:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

God has given no greater gift to the world than Jesus Christ. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is a present reminder to us, because in it we are welcomed and nourished in the name of Christ. The invitation comes not because of who we are, but whose we are. In this season of preparation known as Advent, the Sacrament will be celebrated on Christmas Eve at 11:00 p.m.

If a parent needs to take their child(ren) out of the Sanctuary during the 9:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. service, but would still like to enjoy the service, the parlor and the narthex dressing rooms have sanctuary sound.
