MOUMC - More Than We Can Imagine from Missouri United Methodist Church on Vimeo. "Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far MORE THAN all WE CAN ask or IMAGINE, To him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever."

More Than We Can ImagineOur church is in a very exciting time. We are gathering our prayers, plans, resources and visions for continuing to build on our rich heritage of reaching all generations with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Central to our witness will be vital ministries that flow in and out of our Christian Life Center. With our upcoming More Than We Can Imagine Capital Campaign, the remaining $2.35 million dollar debt needs to be retired on the CLC so we can be freed to do vital ministry with our congregation and community.
We have begun planning and praying together for God’s blessing and guidance in these important days for Missouri UMC’s present and future. We need you to be a part of it! Place the date Sunday, March 18, 2012 on your personal calendar. Plan to join us on that date as we come together on Commitment Sunday to gather our resources and participate in God’s dream for the future ministry of our church. It will be an event that each of us will be glad to have been a part. ![]() Prayerfully and expectantly yours,
Let us look at the fruit of our 2005 leap in faith when we built the Christian Life Center and Connector. Just six years after its completion, the CLC has become More Than We Could Imagine. As one enjoys these facilities, it’s hard to imagine how all the activity at MUMC could have been possible before this gathering, classroom, and activity space was built. Watching people come and go for a myriad of activities weekdays, weeknights and Sundays we seem to be witnessing a living testimony to the principle of “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.” We have opened our doors to welcome a host of new ministry opportunities—meeting space for recovery groups, campus events and classes and a community venue for the arts—many of which would not have been feasible had we not taken the steps to create a space that would invite them.
