Baptisms

Baptism is a symbol of Jesus' death and resurrection, and our entrance into His kingdom. We offer baptisms for any age. New members are received into the church on any Sunday.

Confirmation

Confirmation is held each year for youth 6th grade and older. It is a a declaration of commitment to God and an important time for study, learning, growth and fellowship.

Funerals

Funerals may be arranged at the church by calling either Senior Pastor Amy L. Gearhart or Associate Pastors Molly Moore and Keith Vessell. The Care Connection arranges for a meal to be served in the church parlors at the family’s request.

Saying farewell to our loved ones is not easy, but our grief can be eased somewhat with the help of MUMC’s Caring Ministry. The Caring Ministry includes our pastors, Parish Visitor Ministry, Stephen Ministry, and Care Connection.
