Giving, Stewardship
The primary task of Stewardship is to help persons understand the meaning of stewardship and practice it in all areas of life -- with your prayers, your presence, your gifts and your service. This is a year-round emphasis.
"Giving from the Heart "
As we enter the 2008 Stewardship Campaign, we are reminded that God calls on us throughout the Bible to return to Him what He has given us with joyful and generous hearts. He made the ultimate sacrifice for us, and requests so little of us by comparison. Let us take stock of the many gifts and blessings that God has given us. Take this opportunity to experience the spiritual fulfillment that comes with meeting your financial commitment to God. The blessings received in return for tithing are immeasurable. Please prayerfully consider your 2008 pledge.

Created in 1989, the Heritage Preservation Endowment Fund is the permanent fund of the Missouri United Methodist Church established for the purpose of maintenance and preservation of the physical facilities of the church. This includes such items as sanctuary and stained glass windows. The Heritage Fund now has a principal core of over $1.7 million. Investment income is made available annually for the Fund's purposes.

Nine MUMC members, who serve three-year terms, oversee the Heritage Preservation Endowment Fund.
